Sterling – crystal chandelier from Schonbek
A dream in glass and crystal: the Sterling chandelier from Schonbek The design of the Sterling chandelier harks back to the popular crystal and glass chandelier designs from the 18th century.
Sterling gives the impression that it is completely transparent and made from glass or crystal.
This is also true to a large extent; but some parts of the frame are made from a glossy silver metal.
As a result of its transparency and the hand-cut crystals (Heritage Handcut), the chandelier does not just look very elegant and delicate; it also has a glamorous appearance and will add real sparkle and shine to the room in question.
Crystal chandeliers made by Schonbek look back on a long tradition.
The founder, Adolph Schonbek, began producing chandeliers using crystals and cut glass in his native Bohemia back in 1870.
He soon made a name for himself and could even count the Habsburg Emperor Franz Joseph I amongst his customers.
He awarded Schonbek a coat of arms, which still adorns the companys logo to this day.
As the descendants of Adolph Schonbek emigrated to the USA after the Second World War, the company’s headquarters are also located there.
The opulent and exclusive chandeliers made by Schonbek are made by hand to order as such, each and every one is unique.
